Spending On Native Ads Continue to Rise Despite Debate
Native ads are the future of digital advertising, despite ethical debates. The Association of National Advertisers surveyed its membership in the final quarter of 2014 to see where marketers stood on this hot topic and found that 63% plan to increase their budgets for native ads in 2015.
Independent app publishers who are building a career and not just out for a quick dime can benefit from this trend.
But native ads are tricky. When users are momentarily confused over whether or not a piece is paid content, they can get cranky–and rightfully so. This foggy ethical boundary has even attracted the attention of the FTC.
