Mobile Moms Get Their Game On
Mobile moms—many of whom hold the purse strings in their households—can be a slippery, but very valuable, demographic.
In May 2013, Flurry analyzed iOS and Android app usage for almost 25,000 Americanowned smartphones and tablets and found that moms spend the majority of their smartphone and tablet time playing games. Between the iPad, iPhone, and Android tablets and smartphones, game playing took up 31% to 53% of mom’s app time.
Moms are also strongly represented over the general population for apps related to education, health and fitness, but games were the runaway favorite. Using AdAdapted’s unique marketplace, advertisers can now reach out to mommy gamers where they like best to blow off a little steam.
