Indie App Publishers Can Scoop the Native Ad Market
A river of revenue is flowing into native advertising from top brands, including Hewlett-Packard and Ford Motor Co. In their fall 2014 projections, eMarketer reported that $4.3 billion is forecasted to be spent on native advertising in 2015, up 34% from the previous year. Over the next three years, that will more than double to $8.8 billion!
This level of buy-in illustrates the legitimacy of native ads’ success. Big publishers are already gearing up to take advantage of this influx. Independent mobile app publishers can benefit from this trend, dipping into deep corporate pockets — if they can command the large audiences that corporate advertising demands.
